So I know I'm late to the game, but about a month ago I discovered Pinterest. The jury is still out for me. Sometimes I think it's a wonderful way to gather ideas and get creative. Sometimes I think it's just another way to waste time. Sometimes it makes me feel bad about my less-than-perfectly decorated home, less-than-fashionable clothes, simple dinner menus, and it makes me feel lazy because I'm not constantly crafting. Nonetheless, I wanted to start doing some crafts with Lizzy and we had some fun creating Thanksgiving turkeys for grandparents.
I bought some finger paints and was saving them for a boring day, so this was the perfect time to bring them out. I wasn't really counting on Lizzy being disgusted with getting her hands dirty (duh!), but after the newness wore off, she got into it and we had a lot of fun!
This was after she got over getting her hands dirty and decided to paint a lovely picture for daddy.
And now we're totally over it and loving the paint!
