As the summer wound down I was really concerned about what we would do all winter. Lizzy just adored being outside this summer and was always asking to go out. We spent most of our evenings going for walks, playing at the park, and hanging out in the back yard. We have found lots of fun activities to keep us busy during these colder months, but I know we'll all be ready to enjoy the outdoors again when spring gets here... and we'll be doing that as a family of four :)
The first weekend in December brought the first real snow and it was so beautiful. Lizzy thought it was good enough to eat.

All that gear for a 15-minute play session in the snow :) She was much more fond of it when we brought it inside in small portions for her to eat/play with.
