The thing about blogging is that the most interesting blog times are the busiest times when it's most difficult to find time to write blog entries. The last year has been so super-duper busy, but I'm coming to realize that's just how life is going to be for us while we have kiddos. So if I want to document our fun, I have to just carve out time to get these things recorded. And I've got a ton of catching up to do. Maybe that's the most daunting part and what's been keeping me away. But here's a start. I'm committed to getting back into this. I know if I don't, my future self will be so disappointed. And the truth is we're having the time of our life right now, so I'd like to remember it.
It's 100 degrees today- on May 14. We had a long winter, and apparently are skipping right over spring to welcome summer. This summer we are heading to weddings for some family members, camping with the Preister clan, doing Adventureland with the Zachs, lots of swinging in the back yard, plenty of trips to the zoo, and as many backyard barbecues as we can squeeze in. We are all ready to spend time outdoors as a family. And I'm ready to blog about it!
