Lizzy made it to the zoo a couple of times the last week it was open. We had nice weather and she has been such a HUGE fan of the zoo this year, so we were happy to go a few more times before they close up shop for the winter. She had fun at the zoo on her "daddy day" and a couple of days later we met up with our friends Caden, Asher, and Lexi and their mommies for one last hurrah.
It was tough to get them all in the same shot. They're busy little people!
Here's a sign of Lizzy's new independence. Mommy wasn't as close by as Emmy, so she grabbed Emmy's hand to show her something. This would have never happened just a few months ago and I'm so happy to see my little butterfly spread her wings.
