Lizzy went on her very first field trip today! Since she moved up to the Monkey room, she now gets to do all sorts of fun things like take a field trip to the zoo, and even ride on the bus with her friends! Daddy met her at the zoo and they all had a great time. I think it was quite the crew with lots of little ones, teachers, and mommies and daddies. Since it was so darn hot out today, they got to carry around little cups of water, which Lizzy thought was pretty cool. Cool enough to soak daddy with anyway! As always, she loved the goats and basically stuck her entire hand in the goat's mouth to feed them. She was a little bit sad to get on the bus without daddy, but she still had a great time!

On the way home, we stopped for a chocolate shake (mommy and Lizzy's favorite). She saw them hand it to me through the drive through and started saying "more please" ("mow peez").

They made these cute little shirts for them at daycare. She had her name on the back and they taped St. Mark's contact info to her back, too, in case any of the Monkeys got loose :o)
