Flu Shots

So we've had a case of the sickies at our house for two months now. That means one or both of the kids have been sick during that whole time. That also means we haven't had flu shots yet. Until today.

I prepared Lizzy for the fact that they would be squirting something in her nose. She was ok with it and she did great. She sat up on the table and let Phyllis do what she needed. No tears, no protesting. It was lovely.

Then it was Henry's turn. He had to get the shot because he's too little for the spray. Phyllis (our wonderful nurse) said, "I bet Henry will cry. Flu shots hurt." But alas, Henry cried for maybe 1.5 seconds and then smiled at the nurse. He's quite a guy.
