We have been having lots of fun this week. Last weekend was pretty relaxing. We didn't have any real plans, and sometimes those are the best weekends of all! On Saturday, Lizzy and I spent lots of time playing Little People and climbing on the couches while Jon studied for his Professional Engineering exam. We will all be so happy when that test is behind him. We went out to dinner with some neighbors on Saturday night and gave Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Sarah a chance to hang out with Lizzy. She got a second wind around 7:30 (her usual bedtime) and was showing off for her aunt and uncle until we got home around 8:30. She can be such a ham sometimes! She was clapping about all of the funny things she was doing - - smashing the lid on her block bucket, climbing to the top of the couch, ... all the cool things a 1-year-old does. What a sweetie!
On Sunday, gma and gpa J stopped by on their way back from Rock Port. It was nice to see them! Really, the rest of the weekend we just hung out at the house, which was just fine with all of us. The weeks get so crazy that a weekend without plans was just what the doctor ordered. Here are a few photos from the last couple of days. Happy March everyone!!
She loves climbing on the furniture!
I let her have a cookie. On the couch. I know...
She was brushing her teeth like a big girl!
Here's the dolly reading about Noah's Ark in her new rocking chair. She loves to climb in it.
